Challenge of Agriculture Development in Indonesia: Rural Youth Mobility and Aging Workers in Agriculture Sector

چکیده
The agricultural sector in Indonesia plays a strategic role both economic development and employment. However, this has problems, especially concerning its declining workforce aging workers. This is largely associated with the low attractiveness of absorbing labor. younger age group prefers to seek non-agricultural employment by migrating urban areas. paper aims analyze youth mobility, job choice implications for data analysis are from Indonesian National Labor Force Survey, 2019, Central Bureau Statistics. result descriptive inferential shows that probability higher than older groups. On other hand, finding work manufacturing services greater agriculture sector. carries an increase aged 60 over, which escalated 7.6% 1971 21.2% 2020. Therefore, it necessary develop so attractive generation Indonesia, productivity use digital technology agriculture.
